YOUR TEAM CHALLENGE IS TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE EFFECTS OF THE FAMINE IN IRELAND IN THE 1840'S.

As a group you will work together to find out some of the effects the Famine had on Irish people. When the group has enough information, your task will be to report these effects in a powerpoint presentation which you will deliver to the whole class.

  • What crop failed?
  • What help was provided to Ireland during this time?
